Business methodologies

Needs Assessment

At Sarmad, we start our work with organizations by accurately analyzing needs through our team of expert consultants, based on a comprehensive methodology that includes gap analysis and community-based assessment, also known as needs analysis through immersion. We also analyze systems by involving all relevant stakeholders. We follow this methodology to ensure the identification of unmet gaps and needs, enabling us to design customized solutions that enhance organizational performance and contribute to achieving strategic goals effectively.

Solution Generation

Generating solutions through Design Thinking methodology

After analyzing needs and understanding the challenges facing organizations, we at Sarmad use the Design Thinking methodology to generate innovative and customized solutions. This methodology consists of five stages: Empathize, where we delve into understanding the needs of beneficiaries; Define, where we clearly articulate the problem; Ideate, where we explore multiple solutions; Prototype, where we develop experimental models; and finally, Test, where we refine solutions based on feedback. This ensures that we provide effective solutions that meet client needs in creative and sustainable ways.

Agile Project Management Methodology

Agile project management methodology for managing consulting and implementation projects and initiatives with flexibility and efficiency. Agile helps us break projects into short, iterative phases, enabling us to deliver parts of solutions gradually and adapt quickly to changes. It enhances collaboration and continuous communication between teams and clients, contributing to providing services that accurately and quickly meet client needs.

Theory of Change (TOC)

As a crucial step after generating solutions using the Design Thinking methodology, we move to building the framework through the Theory of Change (TOC) to clarify how to achieve the desired change. We map out the goals, expected outcomes, indicators, and the necessary activities and steps to achieve them.

Impact Measurement and Management using SROI Methodology

At Sarmad, we use the SROI methodology to manage and measure impact and determine the social and environmental value of organizations or projects and initiatives. SROI provides us with tangible evidence of the social benefits achieved by organizations and projects, enhancing the ability to direct resources towards activities that achieve the greatest positive impact. It also helps build trust with partners and investors by providing a transparent and comprehensive evaluation of social returns.
